He is also the chief of the Bioinformatics and Data Analysis Section in the Perinatology Research Branch of the National Institute for Child Health and Development. A senior member of IEEE, Dr. Draghici is an editor of IEEE/ACM Transactions on Computational Biology and Bioinformatics, Journal of Biomedicine and Biotechnology, and International Journal of Functional Informatics and Personalized Medicine.

Provides world class expertise in Kinetics, chemical reaction network and mechanism analysis, and the Atomistic and Molecular computer simulations of chemical reaction systems as well as development and application of reactive force fields (ReaxFF). These developments encompass a wide range of materials, including hydrocarbons, all-carbon materials, nitramines, proteins, semiconductors and transition metals. Fields of application include catalysis, combustion, ceramics, high-energy- and biomaterials. Substantial experience in multiscale (QM/FF/mesoscale) modeling of diagenesis and non-reactive flow of organic compounds in the subsurface and related geological, environmental, and archaeological applications.
Patrick J. Grohar, MD, PhD, is an attending physician with the Cancer Center and the Director of Translational Research with the Center of Childhood Cancer Research at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
He is a member of the Children’s Oncology Bone Tumor Steering Committee and vice-chair of the Ewing Sarcoma Biology Committee of the Children’s Oncology Group.
